According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich are ready to liquidate Sadio Mane after just one season for a fee of £ 17 million.
Last summer, Bayern Munich signed Sadio Mane from Liverpool for a fee of 17 million pounds. After a very high performance at Anfield, the player born in 1992 is expected a lot at the Allianz Arena. He scored 14 goals in his first season in Germany, but that clearly hasn’t made the fans of “Gray Lobster” satisfied.
Sadio Mane disappoints in big games. He even had to sit on the bench in the decisive match to the Bundesliga title last season. Not only was he disappointing professionally, he also caused internal conflicts when he punched teammate Leroy Sane in the face.
Coach Thomas Tuchel is said to have excluded Mane from his plans. Therefore, although there are still 2 years of contract left, Bayern is ready to sell Mane this summer. Bayern Munich accepted to let Mane leave for £ 17 million, half the amount they spent to recruit him last year.
Currently a few teams in England are interested in Mane, including Newcastle. Returning to England to play for “Shoots” could be the perfect choice for the 31-year-old striker. Not only Sadio Mane, Bayern also intends to liquidate a series of other names such as Benjamin Pavard, Marcel Sabitzer, Ryan Gravenberch, Bouna Sarr, Alexander Nubel and Yann Sommer.
In the opposite direction, Bayern is trying to recruit Harry Kane. After the offer of 60 million euros was rejected, they plan to raise the asking price for the striker to 80 million euros. Harry Kane has only one year left on his contract and Bayern will not spend more than 80 million euros for this deal.
