Klopp accused his players of disobeying after Liverpool’s lost to Brighton

Coach Klopp was pessimistic after Liverpool’s 0-3 loss to Brighton in the English Premier League. They have lost two consecutive matches in the domestic league since the beginning of 2023.

Brighton defeated Liverpool 3-0 at home for the first time since 1961 thanks to goals scored by Solly March twice and Danny Welbeck once. Since the beginning of the year 2023, Liverpool has suffered two consecutive defeats, and this encounter marked the team’s fifth loss on the road during the current campaign. At the moment, Liverpool are 8 points behind the teams currently ranked in the top 4.

After the game, Coach Klopp expressed his dissatisfaction with the home team’s performance, which he felt was subpar. Liverpool took 16 sʜᴏᴛs but were unable to find the back of the net, as Brighton controlled 61.9% of the play.

“Awful, even beyond awful. I don’t think I’ve ever played a game that was any worse than this one. The victory went to Brighton because they were the superior team, and it was well deserved. They played very well, which is something we were unable to achieve. We did. We were unable to make it all the way forward because we lost the ball, and there was too much room. While the home team played with a lot of confidence, we were the complete opposite.

To be of some assistance to the team, I proposed that we switch up the lineup. However, the players have never done it in the correct manner. Things wouldn’t be like this if they followed the procedure correctly. My observations show that the participants are not persuaded by my propositions “Klopp said.

When asked if he was concerned about the performances of his players, Klopp responded: “After a game like this, it’s impossible not to feel a little on edge, isn’t it? I can’t make that statement while standing here. didn’t happen “. Liverpool will play Chelsea in the following round; Chelsea is another squad that is currently experiencing difficulties.
