After saving a baby boy who had been buried alive by his young mother, a disabled dog named Ping Pong has become the pride of his town in north-east Thailand.
Ping Pong found a baby who had been buried alive in Thailand.
Farmers were attracted to a patch of land in Ban Nong Kham village, Cham Phuang district, northeast of Bangkok, on Wednesday by the canine’s sniffing and digging. The dog’s digging, according to Ping Pong’s owner, exposed the child’s legs, leading locals to carry the newborn to safety.
A 15-year-old unidentified girl admitted to burying her infant and was charged with attempted murder. She claimed she was scared of her father’s retribution for being pregnant. The girl’s family has stated that they would care for the boy, who has been certified healthy following his rescue.
Despite having just three legs, Ping Pong performed the daring rescue.
“The girl is currently in the care of a psychologist and her parents because she is in tremendous anxiety,” Cham Phuang police lieutenant colonel Panuwat Puttakam said. She is sorry for what she did and claims she acted on impulse without thinking things through. She was afraid her parents would find out she was pregnant.”
The officer stated that police were required to charge the girl with attempted murder and that she would be questioned in front of child service workers.
The infant boy was luckily rescued with no significant injuries.
Ping Pong, a six-year-old boy with just three legs, was recorded soaking in the adulation of his neighborhood following the rescue. Usa Nisaika, 41, his owner, claimed he raised the dog from birth and affirmed that he was a really sweet pup.
“I heard a dog barking and a baby crying in a cassava plantation, so I went there to check,” he told local media. “The dog was digging up a dirt pile and the baby’s legs emerged.”
Usa Nisaika, 41, said he was proud of his hero dog Ping Pong.
Usa Nisaikha, Ping Pong’s owner, claimed the dog lost use of a leg after being hit by a car.
“I kept him because he’s so loyal and obedient, and always helps me out when I go to the fields to tend to my cattle. He’s loved by the entire village. It’s amazing,” he said.
