The power of Ronaldo fans made FIFA have to make a ‘brutɑl’ decision with Messi

The FIFA World Cup’s official Twitter account was forced to delete a Lionel Messi-related tweet after receiving backlash from Cristiano Ronaldo fans.

Messi is currently the talk of the town after leading Argentina to World Cup glory, with many fans believing he has cemented his place as the greatest of all time.

The GOAT debate has raged on for years, with Messi and Ronaldo competing at the top of their respective games throughout their careers.

The official FIFA World Cup Twitter account, however, caused a stir after the final whistle on Sunday.

“The GOAT debate is over,” they wrote on Twitter. The grand prize is now part of the collection. “The legacy is complete.”

While many fans agreed with that tweet, a slew of Ronaldo supporters reacted angrily, accusing FIFA of bias and one-sidedness.

“FIFA deleted this tweet after being called out for bias and receiving backlash,” according to one Ronaldo fan account.

“A detailed account of the world’s largest football organization.

“It was always Ronaldo versus the system.”

“It was absolutely disgusting to see FIFA do this,” another user tweeted. I still can’t believe they tweeted it.”

“Aww, they’re so biased, and we know this World Cup was staged,” a third supporter added.

“FIFA obviously wɑnted Messi to win,” wrote another.

According to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who managed Messi at Barcelona, no one can deny Messi is the GOAT.

“Everyone has an opinion, but no one can deny he’s there, with the greatest of all time,” he said.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll sɑy it again: he’s the best, but it’ll be difficult to understand.”
