Ten Hag makes a concerning remark about the €80m United star

Erik ten Hag was pleased with his team’s performance in their 2-0 Carabao Cup third-round win over Burnley.

Despite not being at their best, Manchester United strolled to a comfortable victory.

In the 27th minute, a wonderful pass from Bruno Fernandes found Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who squared it to the Dane, who blasted it in the net.

Marcus Rashford’s superb solo goal early in the second half put the hosts in command.

In his post-match interview, Ten Hag commended the Englishman.

“I think he [Rashford] invested a lot again with a lot of runs behind the defending line and he scored a wonderful goal in the dribble, great finish. I believe he is in fantastic shape, and I hope he can maintain his focus and performance.”

“I think he [Rashford] is on a really strong level, his performances are growing a lot from game to game. He’s a constant threat, but he’s also scored a lot of goals and done a lot of defense in other games this season.”

Ten Hag was questioned regarding the scenario with Jadon Sancho.

Ten Hag is said to have put him through an individual training regimen in the Netherlands.

Fans will be hoping for a quick resolution to the matter. It appears to be worrying.

Manchester United defeated Burnley 2-0 in the Carabao Cup Thursday evening at Old Trafford. Here are the game’s player ratings:

(A score of 6 is considered average.)

4 Martin Dubravka The first half was suspect, but the second half was much better. A bit.

8 Aaron Wan-Bissaka A fantastic approach to make a claim. Excellent effort all around, including a superb cross for Eriksen’s goal. Ten Hag had to be thinking.

Victor Lindelof 7 – Excellent performance.

Casemiro 6.5 He appeared to have spent his whole career as a center defender. A bad pass in the 81st minute ruined the performance.

6.5 for Tyrell Malacia Did okay, but didn’t seem to be on anyone’s wavelength in the future.

Eriksen, Christian

8 – A fantastic goal and some great passing. Midfield was under control.

Scott McTominay 3.5 – Good intensity tempered by bad passing and poor shooting.

Marcus Rashford – 8.5 The offside rule needs to be learned, but what a second half. What a solitary ambition. Perhaps the right wing isn’t all evil after all.

Fernandes, Bruno

7.5 – Excellent pass leading up to Eriksen’s goal. Lots of enthusiasm and leadership in the press.

Garnacho, Alejandro

6.5 – It was unfortunate not to score early on, but perhaps a shot to the keeper’s right would have been better.

Martial, Anthony

6.5 – A calm game. After some slick dancing in the box, I was able to get a decent shot off.

Substitutes

Antony 5 – Appeared rusty or unfocused.

Mr. Luke Shaw

5.5 – On a handful of occasions, I was out of place. Unfocused.

Mr. Anthony Elanga

5.5 – Nothing was displayed. Looks unsure of himself.

Fred 6 – Didn’t have much time to make an impact on the game.

Brandon Williams 6 – There isn’t much time to make an impression.
