Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirms Manchester United are working to complete their squad ahead of the new season.

Erik ten Hag has identified former Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana as a long-term replacement for David de Gea at Old Trafford. With De Gea just gone, Man Utd has more reason to push this deal.

Man United ‘s latest offer for the Cameroon international is said to be around 50 million euros. Inter want around 60 million euros for their No. 1 goalkeeper.

However, reports suggest a deal is possible at 55 million euros. With Onana personally , this goalkeeper soon reached a personal agreement with the Red Devils.

In addition, Man Utd is also trying to complete the signature of Rasmus Hojlund. This deal can also cost Man Utd more than 50 million euros.

After recruiting Onana and Hojlund, Man Utd is expected to turn to midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. However,  Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the Old Trafford team preferred to bring in a central defender.

Specifically, Romano confirmed that after the goalkeeper and striker, the Red Devils will look for a name as a backup plan for the pair of Rafael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
