It has been said that Manchester United are considering making an offer to buy forward Goncalo Ramos from SL Benfica. Ramos now plays for Benfica.
Ramos is one of the probable prospects that the Red Devils are considering for the position of number nine that they are hoping to fill in their lineup.
According to the Portuguese daily O Jogo, Erik ten Hag is rumored to be an admirer of Ramos and wants to lure him to Old Trafford (via Sport Witness).
A number of the top clubs in Europe, such as Paris Saint-Germain, Newcastle United, and Southampton, amongst others, have expressed serious interest in signing Ramos.
This is an incredible season for him at Benfica, as he has scored 17 goals while making 26 appearances in the team’s lineup.
It is common knowledge that Ramos has a professional touch when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net. He needs only the tiniest crack in the defense to slip the ball behind the defense and into the back of the net.
It is generally agreed upon that the Portuguese striker is among the most exciting forwards in the game of football played anywhere in the world.
After scoring a hat trick in the game against Switzerland that was part of the World Cup, he earned a great deal more attention than he had previously.

There is a good chance that Benfica will comply with Ramos’ release clause, which has a value of €120 million and will not be modified in the near future.
His current contract expires in 2025. As a direct consequence of this, the release provision will retain its legal force and effect.
In the long run, United does require a striker who is capable of playing in the forward position at all times.
The team that Ten Hag is in charge of needs to come up with a plan to get the upper hand during the aggression. Adding a skilled striker would help the team do better overall.
It is currently unknown whether or not Manchester United will take the opportunity presented by the upcoming summer transfer window to attempt to acquire Ramos.
