Manchester United owner Avram Glazer and the rest of his family have decided to sell the club.
Manchester United owner Avram Glazer, according to reports, met with potential investors from Saudi Arabia and Qatar in Doha. After 17 years in power, the Red Devils are on the market, with their divisive leaders eager to sell. But, with no clear frontrunner established at this point, it remɑins to be seen who will eventually take over the club.
Despite the fɑct that the Americans have long been divisive figures at Old Trafford, the Glazers expressed interest in selling United at the end of last month.
Glazer has met with investors from Qatar and Saudi Arabia who are interested in purchasing the club, according to The Athletic.
The Raine Group, United’s financial advisors, anticipate a full sale of the club by the end of the first quarter of 2023.
The Glazers are seeking between £6B and £7B in order to sell the Red Devils.
The nature of the talks between Glazer and the Saudi and Qatari investors is currently unknown, according to the publication.

Glazer is currently at the World Cup in Qatar and, when quizzed for an update on the situation, recently said: “It’s not necessarily a sale, it’s a process and we’re going forward with the process, so we’ll see what happens.
“That’s the update, that’s the process, and the process is progressing.”
Previously, United was said to have held investment talks with Saudi Arabia and Dubai-based investment funds.
This comes after Saudi Arabia’s sports minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki, discussed the possibility of United or Liverpool being taken over.
“I hope so [that they’d be interested in the two clubs] if there are investors and the numbers add up and it makes sense,” Turki said in November.

“Then the private sector could come in, or companies could come in, from the kingdom.
“The Premier League is the best league in the world,” one person claims. Everyone is watching the Premier League.
“It’s the most watched league and there are diehard fans of these teams in the kingdom. As a result, everyone would benefit.”
There are several other potential owners for Manchester United besides Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is interested in buying Manchester United after failing to buy Chelsea earlier this year.

Since 2005, the Glazers have owned Manchester United.
