‘Now or never’: ten Hag is ready to increase ‘historic offer’ to sign with ‘Juventus’s gusty drill’

According to Calciomercato.it, Manchester United is prepared to make a move for Dusan Vlahovic this summer if Juventus is required to reduce its roster.

The Red Devils have improved this season under manager Erik ten Hag, and their Carabao Cup victory just broke a six-year trophy drought.

Even though the team will be aiming for more trophies before the season is up, finding a new striker should be a major priority during this summer’s transfer window.

Vlahovic, who has been linked to Juventus recently, is now reportedly ready to attack’ for the Serbian by the Red Devils should the Bianconeri be forced to sell.

The Turin giants have recently penalized 15 points for improper financial dealings, but they plan to appeal the ruling before the season is complete.

If they are unsuccessful, a top-four Serie A result could prevent them from qualifying for the Champions League the next season. To qualify for the competition, they might need to win the Europa League.

United need a marquee striker this summer

This season, Marcus Rashford has been in outstanding form for United. Despite the 25 goals the England international has scored thus far, United still needs a specialist striker.

Rashford is a left winger by trade, as Sir Alex Ferguson said, and the team needs to spend money on a new center-forward. Vlahovic is a possibility, but for now there are better options.

Although suffering from ailments all season, the Serbian nevertheless managed to score 10 goals and provide four assists in 23 games. Our opinion is that United needs to properly evaluate his fitness.

Vlahovic is apparently valued at £89 million by Juventus, which would be a significant investment for a striker who has not yet reached the heights of his final season at Fiorentina.

Goncalo Ramos of Benfica and Victor Osimhen of Napoli are significantly superior options for United as forwards.

This season, Osimhen and Ramos have each scored 21 goals. Despite sitting out a month between September and October, the former has still reached that total.

Both players will cost the Red Devils more money this summer, but either would be a great addition over Vlahovic, who has a dubious fitness history.

Erik ten Hag has offered Harry Maguire optimistic final shot over Man Utd future

Before to the summer transfer season, Harry Maguire’s future at Manchester United was grim, but manager Erik ten Hag seems to have given him one last chance to stay at Old Trafford.

As manager Erik ten Hag made it very plain that Harry Maguire might be in line for a new position, Maguire’s Manchester United career may have been given one last chance.

The captain of the Red Devils is still the most expensive defender in football history, but this season he has dropped down the Old Trafford hierarchy. The former Leicester player has started just five Premier League games this season after falling behind Raphael Varane and summer acquisition Lisandro Martinez in the hierarchy of importance.

Ten Hag, though, gave a hint that Maguire might stay after all, saying that the England star had been practicing a slightly different defensive role under his guidance, which was evident in the FA Cup triumph against West Ham.

The Dutchman said: “That is my way of playing, or our way, and it is better, following the late victory over the Hammers. At right center-back, I like a player with a lot of initiative, and left-footers have better angles at left center-back.

“Harry can play on the left, but right is clearly a superior position, as we saw today [against West Ham]. He put in a strong performance, showing initiative both in and out of possession. As a result, he was dominant in defense but also had some excellent moments on offense.

He made accurate passes, engaged opponents effectively, and outperformed them. He executed his play well.

“How can we support him in that? He receives teaching and coaching during training. Yet, we also recently showed him a video on how to outplay opponents and how he can have a bigger impact in possession when the game is being built up because of his skills, which are extremely high. He is really talented for a center back. He must apply that to a game.

Maguire’s versatility throughout the rest of the season and beyond may suggest to Ten Hag that he should be kept on as a member of the team. If his playing time increases, the former Leicester player might possibly be persuaded to remain with the team.

Maguire has previously addressed his role with the Red Devils, assuring that Ten Hag has full faith in him while also acknowledging the difficult road ahead of him to make the team. The manager has been asked about my role in interviews a lot, and he tells me honestly that he believes in me, but this is football, he remarked following the Red Devils’ Carabao Cup victory.

“Of the players who are now on the field and in the starting lineup, Raphael Varane is excelling, and we have observed the manager’s preferences, which include a left-footed center defender. The battle for positions is fierce, but this is Manchester United. We want to take home large trophies, and in order to do so, competition is necessary.

“The manager communicates to me on a daily basis; he truly respects me and thinks I’m a quality center-back with all the skills to play for his squad. He is aware, as am I, that the guys are playing really well.
