Messi once again sowed Mbappe’s grief, winning the prestigious award

According to a poll conducted by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, Lionel Messi is superior to Kylian Mbappe (IFFHS).

Messi currently has the lead in the IFFHS 2022 Best Player poll with 275 points, according to the results released on January 4. Kylian Mbappe, who placed second, only earned 35 points. Erling Haaland is in fifth place with five points, followed by Karim Benzema in third place with 30 points and Luka Modric in fourth place with 15 points.

Messi just completed the year 2022 with three championships in Ligue 1, the Intercontinental Super Cup, and the World Cup. The Argentina captain scored seven goals and made three passes during the World Cup in Qatar. He also took home the Best Player and Silver Shoe awards for himself.

Messi is also on his game when wearing the PSG uniform. The 35-year-old player contributed 35 goals and 30 assists in a total of 51 games for the club and squad in 2022. He contributed to a goal after 69 minutes on average.

Mbappe’s sole collective championship in 2022 is the Ligue 1. The France team led by Mbappe advanced to the World Cup final but fell to Argentina 2-4 on penalties. The 23-year-old striker himself earned the Golden Shoe at the World Cup with eight goals and the Ligue 1 top scorer in 2021–2022.

The greatest success that Benzema and Modric will have achieved by the end of 2022 is going to be winning the Champions League and La Liga respectively. Another bronze medal has been added to Modric’s collection thanks to his performance at the World Cup. On October 17, 2022, Benzema was victorious and took home the Golden Ball. Despite this, this distinction will only be applicable to donations made during the 2021–2022 season.

The IFFHS has, up until this point, presented the Player of the Year award on six separate occasions. The first three races were won by Marco Van Basten in 1988, 1989, and 1990, respectively, while Lothar Matthaus won the first race in 1990. At the request of FIFA, the award will not be presented again until the year 2020 so that space can be made for the FIFA Player of the Year award. The champion for the past two years has been Robert Lewandowski.

After winning the IFFHS, it is projected that Messi will continue to win big individual honors, such as the 2023 Golden Ball and the FIFA The Best, both of which were awarded on February 27.

“Standing Next to Mbappe, Neymar is a professional discharge”

Kylian Mbappe has received a lot of appreciation for the fact that he came back to PSG so quickly after competing in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where he led France all the way to the championship game. The fact that the French international played in PSG’s last two matches against Strasbourg and Lens before being rested by PSG left Riolo impressed. The French international even started both of those encounters.

In the episode After Foot on RMC, Riolo said the following about Mbappe: “He has 10 days off, so he can do anything he wants, right? He does not leave in the middle of games, and he does not leave without the club’s authorization.”

Even though he had ten days off after the World Cup, he wasn’t fully rested when he came back to play two very important matches. “This is the 10 days off that he had to take off after the World Cup.”

Mbappe’s teammate was the subject of this commentator’s commentary on the contrary: “Don’t bother telling me about Neymar, who has shown himself to be a failure on the field, especially in comparison to Mbappe, who exemplifies the opposite of what you should strive to be.
