The Manchester United player shared a snapshot on Instagram in which he described how he prepared for the proposal in Los Angeles.

The couple can be seen kissing in front of a huge heart-shaped arch and a floral bed that is decorated with a large number of white roses, fairy lights, and column candles.

The beautiful image was posted by Rashford, 24, with the date they got engaged, Tuesday, May 24. He added a white heart emoji and tagged Loi as well.

The couple apparently briefly broke up last February but had started dating when they were still in school. They reconciled by January 2022, as evidenced by Rashford’s posting of a collection of images of the couple together along with the phrase, “Through thick and thin.”

Messages of congratulations and well wishes poured in for Rashford from his football teammates and other peers.

“So happy for you both!” the official Manchester United Instagram account tweeted.

Ro-Shaun Williams, a defender for Manchester United, made the remark “What a night brother,” suggesting that he had been there to celebrate the couple’s engagement.

Both Rashford and Loi received “massive congrats” from Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Devonte Redmond, while fellow Manchester United player James Garner replied with a red heart emoji and the words “Congratulations bro.”

According to a source cited by The Sun, Rashford made sure the moment was “extremely romantic” and had been planning to propose to Loi for “a while.”

The insider was cited as stating, “Lucia has played a significant role in Marcus’ life since school, offering stability, a sense of belonging, a relatability, and assurance that can be hard to find in this world.”

Everyone expressed their best wishes for them and said that this was a really special and welcome moment for them both.
