Manchester United have already defeated Arsenal without Casemiro! – Erik ten Hag claims

Erik ten Hag believes Manchester United can beɑt Arsenal without Casemiro, pointing out that they have done so in the past.

Manchester United suffered a setback when Casemiro was sent off against Crystal Palace for his fifth yellow card of the season, ruling him out of Sunday’s title match against Arsenal. Despite Casemiro’s late substitution, United manager Erik ten Hag was quick to point out that his team has already beɑten Arsenal this season.

“The last time we bet Arsenal without Casemiro,” Ten Hag told Sky Sports.

“We’ll have to do it again this time. Casemiro is clearly an important player for us, and he is one of the primary reasons we are in this position. We have a squad, and we need to fill that void by developing a proper plan, which the squad must do. We’ve already shown how to bet on Arsenal as a group.”

Since settling into life in the Premier League, Casemiro has been a huge part of Manchester United’s surge up the table, helping them to become unlikely title contenders. Ten Hag must now decide how to replace the Brazilian against Arsenal’s slick midfield, with Scott McTominay or Fred the most likely replacements.

The Gunners currently lead the table by eight points, so all eyes will be on the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon to see what the latest installment of the Arsenal vs. Manchester United rivalry has in store. Casemiro will serve his one-match ban and be available for Manchester United’s Carabao Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest.
