Manchester United will reportedly have to pay €70 million to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in January or the summer.
United are likely to be linked with a number of strikers in the coming weeks, as it is widely known that they want to strengthen in that area of the pitch.

With Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, they now have only Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford to choose from up front.
Erik ten Hag has even admitted that they “need players” in that area.
“I believe we have a squad; we have players who fit our criteria,” Ten Hag said shortly before the New Year.
“However, all the games are on their way. It’s a tough competition in all leagues, and we want to be in all leagues and continue playing in all leagues and cups.
“As a result, we need players and numbers to cover. So we need good players to cover, not just a large number of them. We also need competition and to know that we can make tactical decisions.
“So we’re looking for the right player for our squad, but he has to meet both our sporting criteria and some financial criteria.”

Man United are reportedly interested in signing Muani. They are reportedly preparing a €60 million offer for the forward.
The 24-year-old joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer in the summer and has scored eight goals this season across all competitions. He also scored a goal for France during the World Cup in Qatar.
Frankfurt, according to Fabrizio Romano, values the forward at €70 million.
‘Manchester United have been linked with a number of strikers, the most recent of which is Randal Kolo Muani,’ wrote Romano for Caught Offside.
‘However, it is more than difficult for any club in January – Eintracht Frankfurt has no intention of selling the player, and his price tag is around €70m.
‘I believe Kolo Muani, along with Jonathan David, is one to watch this summer.’

Muani is not the only French Bundesliga player they are linked with; they are also said to be interested in Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram.
It was reported late last month that the 25-year-old had chosen Manchester United over Aston Villa and Newcastle United.
Thuram has ten league goals and five assists this season, but his contract expires in the summer.
United may have a free hand with Thuram now that Newcastle has ‘pulled the plug on their pursuit,’ according to Football Insider.

Monchengladbach are ‘thinking about selling’ this month in order to avoid losing the forward for nothing in the summer.
Newcastle are now ‘prioritizing other options’ despite the fɑct that Thuram is ‘available for as little as £6m due to his contract situation’.
