Kylian Mbappe, France’s striker, did not participate in the most recent training session, which took place four days before the quarter-final match against England.
Accordingly, reports indicate that Kylian Mbappe has been concerned about the hamstring strain he’s been experiencing over the past several days. This is an ongoing pain that has the potential to become worse. He did not show up for the training session that took place at Jassim-bin-Hamad one day after the encounter between France and Poland and four days before the quarter-final match against England.
The French national team will hold indoor practices on December 7 and 8, mostly with the intention of recovering physically. Therefore, France will only have one major practice before playing England on December 10th.
In the event that Mbappe is unable to play, coach Deschamps has the option of playing Lilian Thuram on the right wing. Mbappe’s function on the French national team is that of the primary assault spear, whilst Giroud is frequently called upon to play the role of the wall man.
At the age of 23, Kylian Mbappe has established himself as France’s primary striker. During the 1/8 match against Poland, he scored two goals for his team. Mbappe has scored seven goals at the 2022 World Cup, making him the player who has directly contributed to the most goals (5 goals, 2 assists). In addition to this, the striker who was wearing the number 10 shirt became the first player in the history of the French national team to score more than four goals in each of the World Cups that they participated in. He was also the first player to score nine goals at a football tournament. before reaching the age of 24, it had become the largest in the world.

Mbappe has surpassed Ronaldo’s record of nine goals scored in eleven appearances across two World Cups. The Portuguese superstar has competed in five separate World Cup tournaments, with a total of twenty appearances; yet, he has only scored eight goals.
Mbappe has played for both the France national team and his club team a total of 360 times, during which time he has racked up 250 goals and 114 assists. When you consider that he is not yet 24 years old, he has a significant amount of time ahead of him to keep adding to this total.
Messi was advised to retire if he won the World Cup 2022
Former coach Carles Rexach – who signed Lionel Messi’s first contract at Barca – thinks that the Argentine captain should retire at the highest level.

“I would suggest that Messi retire if Argentina win the 2022 World Cup, because he has nothing left to rise to after winning the world,” Rexach told Super Deportivo Radio. “Messi should hang up his boots when he is at the top, and there is nothing more noble than winning the World Cup.”
Rexach served as Technical Director of Barca in 2000 and was the first to sign Messi for the host club Camp Nou. Two years later he became Barca coach while Messi was still training at La Masia. Also because of Messi, the former Spanish coach supported Argentina to win the World Cup. “If that happens, I celebrate in the same way that Spain won,” he said.
Rexach also said that Argentines should not compare Messi to the legendary Diego Maradona. “Based on their titles and achievements, we cannot compare Maradona with Messi,” the 75-year-old former coach added. “Messi has played 1,000 games, scored 800 goals and provided countless assists. He has been playing at the top level for almost 20 years. We can’t ask for more from a player.”
Argentina will meet the Netherlands in the quarter-finals on December 9 at Lusail Stadium. If they reach the semi-finals, Messi and his teammates will meet Brazil or Croatia on this field.

Argentina won the World Cup twice, in 1978 under the brilliance of Mario Kempes and in 1986 with Maradona. Many Argentines still think that Messi cannot compare with these two players because of the lack of World Cup titles. The 35-year-old superstar was also the best player at the 2014 World Cup, but Argentina only finished second because he lost to Germany in the final.
