Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s departure from Liverpool has been touted for the January transfer window.
The former Arsenal winger has been linked with a winter move away from Anfield.

The England international, a £40 million signing by Liverpool back in 2017 [Guardian], has struggled in a major way for fitness and form over the past couple of years.
Oxlade-Chamberlain impressed in the 3-1 Premier League victory away to Aston Villa on Monday, having played a part in the League Cup defeat by Manchester City last Thursday.
As covered by HITC Football, AC Milan are reportedly [Calciomercato] among those interested in signing Oxlade-Chamberlain next summer when his contract expires at Liverpool.

And although Didi Hamann has acknowledged that he was decent on Boxing Day, the former Reds midfielder cannot see a long-term future for him on Merseyside any longer.
He told Stadium Astro: “Oxlade-Chamberlain did okay today but I think his time is up as well.”
If he’s fit, Oxlade-Chamberlain can be a massive asset for Liverpool.

Everyone knows he’s had some big moments in a Reds shirt down the years but, again, the problem is fitness.
If Jurgen Klopp could keep him fit and motivated then there’s no telling how many more memorable moments the former Southampton starlet could produce.
But that, in essence, is the rub – fitness.
Liverpool could sign Mbappe for ‘astronomical’ fee after ‘huge’ update
Kylian Mbappe would require a “astronomical sum,” according to Frank McAvennie, for him to join Liverpool.
The former West Ham striker expressed his desire to see Jude Bellingham and Mbappe team up at Anfield exclusively to Football Insider.

The Reds are reportedly back in the running to make a “big” offer for Mbappe, 24, in the summer after reemerging as one of the club’s watching his position, according to Spanish publication Sport (19 December).
The striker signed a contract extension with PSG in May, extending his current deal until 2025.
This website was informed by insiders on December 13 that Jurgen Klopp’s team is preparing to recruit two new players, with at least one of the deals possibly closing in January.
Before the summer window opens, Bellingham, 19, remains their top target, and the Merseysiders are optimistic that a deal can be completed.
When asked if Mbappe could play for Liverpool, McAvennie replied, “It would be fantastic for British football.
“I don’t think it will happen. I’m not sure if Liverpool has that kind of enormous wealth. They were hesitant to hand up the cash to [Mohamed] Salah, and PSG is demanding a king’s ransom for Mbappe.
He has complete control over the club. I have no idea why he would wish to go, and no one I know can afford him till his contract expires.
“But not in a million years, in my opinion, can I see it occurring. It would cost an enormous sum of money. However, I believe he is content there and in charge of that club. Nevertheless, picture Bellingham and Mbappe playing together.
