Erik ten Hag is pushing to bring the Dutchman to Old Trafford with less than €60M

This season, the Red Devils have relied heavily on Diogo Dalot to play the right back position for them. Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who serves as his deputy, has logged only four minutes of first-team playing time.

It has been speculated that the 25-year-old could be sold or loaned out prior to the month of January, and Plettenberg has now disclosed that the club is looking at three different right-back alternatives.

Jeremie Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen and Malo Gusto of Lyon are both being considered for the position; however, it is possible that Gusto will not be available for a transfer until the season is through with Lyon.

In addition to the two, there are rumors that the Red Devils are also keeping an eye on Dumfries. It would appear that United boss Ten Hag is making efforts to sign the Dutchman to a contract at Old Trafford.

United need a strong competitor for right-back spot

This season, Dalot has established himself as a reliable option at right back. Because Wan-Bissaka lacks the ability to mount an aттacking тhreat, the Portuguese have had absolutely no competition from Wan-Bissaka.

In the department located in Dumfries, United would see a significant advancement. The 26-year-old forward has been outstanding for both club and country over the previous 18 months, contributing to a number of goals during that time.

He began his professional career as a right defender, but since 2021, he has been playing the position of a right wing back instead. It’s possible that this will work out well for Ten Hag, who likes to have aттacking full-backs on his team.

Because of the many skills he possesses, Dumfries may be able to provide Dalot with formidable competition. While playing right back for PSV in his final season there, he had an average of 1.5 tackles and 1.6 interceptions per game.

Additionally, the Dutchman prevailed in nearly two-thirds of their aerial duels on average. It is expected that he will have no issue readjusting to the job, and that Ten Hag will give him more leeway to move things along.

It is also unknown whether or not the hierarchy will support Ten Hag in his pursuit of Dumfries throughout the following month. Inter has stated that they will not sell him for anything less than €60 million in the foreseeable future.

With 1.7m pounds, Man Utd will put the memories of Ronaldo ‘deep in the past’

The Old Trafford team is seeking for a better choice given the financial circumstances of the team.

Manchester United must sign a top-tier striker as soon as possible in the January transfer window after Cristiano Ronaldo left.

Under Erik ten Hag, the Old Trafford team has made great progress. To support their desire to bring back the golden period, they will still require resources that are robust enough.

Ten Hag needs to add quality to the ɑttack.

Recently, Man Utd has been linked to a number of quality strikers, including Cody Gakpo, Joao Felix, and most recently, Goncalo Ramos.

Both of the aforementioned goals meet the needs of coach Erik ten Hag. Although they are young, they have already shown the qualities of a great achiever. The main problem, though, is the transfer price.

In the summer, the Red Devils added personnel to all three lines for more than £200 million. As a result, if a significant fee is necessary to be paid in the future transfer window, the club’s financial resources will be seriously harmed.

Gakpo won’t be sold by PSV for less than £50 million, and Atletico Madrid expects to recoup about £100 million through the sale of Felix. Ramos experienced the same sensation when Portugal put up a respectable performance.

Manchester United won’t spend more than £50 million on deals in January, according to Sport Witness’ estimation. They must therefore now look to a less expensive option in order to more properly prepare for the plan to “etonate the blockbuster on the aттack.”

Gakpo is becoming a hoт name in the transfer market but it will not be easy for Man Utd to own

Memphis Depay for Manchester United is almost the ideal option given the circumstances.

Along with Gakpo, the 28-year-old aттacker performed admirably to assist the Orange Cyclone go to the World Cup quarterfinals. He made five starts and opened the scoring for the US team in the 1/8 stage of the tournament.

Depay is still a top scorer in Europe right now in terms of strength. The former Lyon player’s versatility will also aid Ten Hag in expanding his choices for aттacks.

Depay played quite well at the World Cup.

More crucially, if Manchester United decides they want to buy Depay, they will only incur a little financial loss.

Due to coach Xavi’s success in luring Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona, the Dutch striker is currently in disgrace there. He has only participated in 3 games this season across all competitions.

The former Lyon star was not delighted about being buried on the bench. Numerous rumors claim that he intends to go out as soon as the January transfer window opens, and Barcelona may find it challenging to stop Depay’s plans given that their contract is only good through the end of the current campaign.

The fee to own Deplay is not expensive

Barcelona will agree to release Depay for just £ 1.7 million, which is a steal given the 28-year-old striker’s talent and experience. This was even reported by the Caught Offside publication.

Before going on to a more comprehensive and in-depth transfer plan, this will be a great opportunity to help Man Utd improve the quality of the aттack.
