Chelsea ready to fight the London gangs for the ‘heart’ of Juventus

If they want to sign this talented player, the home team from Stamford Bridge will have to compete aggressively with two other teams from the same city. Adrien Rabiot came perilously close to signing with Manchester United during the transfer window that occurred this past summer. The fee was settled upon, but the deal could not be finalized because the French star demanded an excessively high salary in addition to a bonus.

After that, the red of Manchester turned to Casemiro and promptly welcomed the Brazilian midfielder to Old Trafford. Casemiro had just signed with Manchester United. As for Rabiot, he decided to remain with Juventus and has since played exceptionally well, earning a spot on France’s roster for the World Cup in 2022. The player, who is 27 years old, appeared in 16 games for the Bianconeri, contributing directly to the team with 5 goals and 2 assists.

The agent who represents Serie A has not yet been successful in persuading the midfielder who was born in 1995 to sign a new contract. As a result, according to Calciomercato, Rabiot has shown interest in all three of these clubs simultaneously: Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues are the most willing to make changes to their midfield formation out of the three clubs competing in London. According to other sources, President Todd Boehly’s top priority at this month’s market is to acquire Rabiot, who is ranked number one.

Denis Zakaria (Juventus) and Carney Chukwuemeka were the only two midfielders that Chelsea signed prior to the start of the 2022–2023 campaign for Chelsea. The rest of the signings, including the other players, are additions to both the defense and the attack.

N’Golo Kante’s long-term injury, on the other hand, rendered the transfer policy of BLD Chelsea “bankrupt.” Both Zakaria and Chukwuemeka see very little playing time under Coach Graham Potter.

This is the reason why the club boss and the 47-year-old captain are working on a plan for Chelsea to use during the 2022 World Cup during the month of January.

A journalist for the Telegraph named Matt Law made the disclosure a few days ago that the club’s primary focus during the transfer window will be on bolstering the midfield with players such as Rabiot, Declan Rice, or Jude Bellingham.

On the other hand, as was mentioned earlier, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will provide Chelsea with a significant amount of competition in this transaction. According to reports, the Gunners want to add more players to their midfield depth chart. While this is going on, head coach Antonio Conte has a soft spot for players who were on his previous team, Juventus.
