Challenged because of Levy, Man United give up Harry Kane to switch to ‘striker duo of future’

As the club’s search for a consistent goal scorer picks up steam, Rasmus Hojlund and Randal Kolo Muani are being closely watched by Manchester United.

Erik ten Hag’s top choice for a striker is Harry Kane. According to The Peoples Person, United’s top brass have already approved a potential Kane trade, and negotiations with Tottenham are expected to begin in the coming weeks.

Ten Hag believes that Kane has the potential to transform the Red Devils into title challengers, thus he is eager to secure his services.

Despite this, United is aware of the difficulties that might occur while speaking with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

The three-time European Cup winners are not interested in fιghting Levy to the deɑth for Kane.

Levy may prolong discussions until the last days of the transfer window in an effort to keep his star or to demand more money from their top-4 rivals, which worries United.

United is looking into other targets because of this.

The Manchester Evening News reports that Manchester United is keeping an eye on Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta and Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt in case they are priced out of a move for Harry Kane.

Hojlund, like Muani, is contracted to his club until 2027. According to insiders at United, at least four prestigious European clubs, including Chelsea and Bayern Munich, are expected to be in the market for a top striker this summer.

Victor Osimhen of Napoli is still a target for United, and Ajax’s Mohamed Kudus and Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos are both favorites of Ten Hag.

Hojlund switched to Atalanta last summer, and Muani joined Eintracht Frankfurt the same year. Both have swept their leagues, respectively.

For Frankfurt, Muani has 16 goals in 35 appearances. According to recent reports, United will have to spend up to €120m to sign the French player.

Hojlund, a self-described follower of Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo, has scored seven goals in 23 Serie A games for Atalanta this season.

On his debut for the national team, the Danish superstar scored an amazing hat tгιc𝗸. He later scored two goals in the match against Kazakhstan on Sunday.

United are trying to unload the prone to injury Anthony Martial, according to MEN, in order to make room for a move for a top-tier number nine.

Muani and Hojlund would be very wise purchases if they were available at lower prices than players like Osimhen and Kane.

Replacing De Gea, Man Utd eyeing ‘Manuel Neuer 2.0’

In an effort to find a goalkeeper, Gregor Kobel is reportedly a target for Manchester United and Chelsea this summer.

According to Blick, Gregor Kobel will draw interest from Chelsea and Manchester United this summer. The 25-year-old Bundesliga standout has so far made an impression at Borussia Dortmund that they want to extend his contract. The Swiss star’s exorbitɑnt pay requirements make a transfer to the Premier League intriguing.

At Borussia Dortmund this season, Gregor Kobel delivered noteworthy performances. Attention has been drawn to the fɑct that the Swiss international’s team is in first place in the Bundesliga rankings.

Before playing for a prestigious club like Dortmund, Kobel had a difficult career. The top team in the Bundesliga wants to offer him a new deal with a substantial wage raise. The 25-year-old is one of the most paid players at the club, earning €4m annually and reportedly seeking a €12–13m contract.

Dortmund may think about making a fair payment if it deters Premier League clubs from showing interest. Kobel is coveted by Manchester United and Chelsea, who want to sign him in the summer. Both of the two titans are searching for a new long-term goalie due to goalkeeping concerns.

David De Gea has already turned down Manchester United’s initial offer, despite the fаcт that they are willing to give him a new contract. The club is unwilling to give him a wage that is comparable to his current one. Although there is a shared belief that a new agreement may be reached, the Spaniard is not a long-term answer.

Manchester United has considered Illan Meslier and other players like him to take over as their new No. 1 and establish himself there permanently. Yet, De Gea’s presence means that any newcomer will have to wait their turn until they are ready to immediately challenge the Spaniard with their talent.

Kobel, who played for Dortmund at the highest level, serves as an example of one of these athletes. Chelsea, who are ready to make significant changes to their goalkeeping positions, present the Red Devils with fierce competition. Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabala are unsure of their futures and may leave in the summer.

Chelsea is hunting for Meslier as well and may offer a big sum ahead of their rivals. They are also keeping an eye on Kobel’s location in order to take action. Graham Potter may suggest that the team recruit a new star as he is not yet sure in the long-term quality of his present goalkeepers.

The future of the squad will benefit from Kobel, who has the potential to outperform Chelsea’s current goalies. For the time being, Dortmund will try to re-sign him, but if they are unable to reach an agreement, they may consider selling him.
