Big problem: Liverpool target Jude Bellingham prefers Real Madrid

LIVERPOOL TARGET JUDE BELLINGHAM PREFERS REAL MADRID

AS have reported that last season’s La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid will try to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023.

Dortmund are reportedly resigned to losing the 19-year-old, who is doing extremely well for England at the 2022 Qatar World Cup at the moment, but the German club want as much as €150 million (£129 million) in transfer fees.

And that is a problem for Madrid, according to the report in the Spanish publication.

However, Los Blancos do have an advantage over the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City.

According to AS, the England international midfielder prefers a move to Madrid to a switch to the Premier League.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has told CaughtOffSide that Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid all want Bellingham.

NOT SO STRAIGHTFORWARD

In our opinion, even if Jude Bellingham prefers a move to Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester United or Manchester City could still sign him next summer.

After all, Dortmund will sell the teenager to whichever club pay the most.

So, if Madrid are unwilling to pay €150 million (£129 million) for the England star but Liverpool cough up the cash, then Dortmund will sell the midfielder to the Reds.
