Kudus played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax and supposedly wants to renew ties with his former boss at Man United.
Ajax star Mohammed Kudus would reportedly cost around £48m amid rumours he is interested in rekindling ties with former boss Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
The Manchester Evening News ʀᴇᴠᴇᴀʟᴇᴅ last month that the Ghanaian is of interest to Ten Hag, who is also keeping tabs on Harry Kane, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Benfica attacker Goncalo Ramos.
MEN Sport also reported earlier this week that United are targeting a midfielder alongside a goal-getter this summer. Kudus, an attacking midfielder by trade who has mainly been played as a striker this season, has tallied 16 goals this term.
Ten Hag is known for liking versatile players and Kudus offers this, being able to play on the wing as well as centrally. The 22-year-old has scored against Liverpool, Napoli and Rangers in the Champions League this season, finishing the group stages with four goals and two assists in six fixtures.

A report from Football Insider claims that Kudus would be interested in making a switch to Manchester. It moots that the transfer could cost around £48m given he still has just over two more years on his Ajax contract.
The likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle have all been linked with interest, too. Apparently, though, Kudus has told his close circle that his preference is to link back up with Ten Hag with former teammates Lisandro Martinez and Antony fairing well at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, talkSPORT claims Liverpool are confident of beating United to the capture of Mason Mount, who has been linked away from Chelsea this summer following January’s mass influx of players at Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old had played in all but one of Chelsea’s matches this season but has started just one of his past four outings. With United spying a midfielder this summer, Mount has been linked with a possible low-money move to the Reds given his contract expires next year.
However, with Jurgen Klopp readying an overhaul at Anfield this summer, Liverpool are eager to snap up the England international for a cut price.
‘Goodbye Maguire’: Man United hopeful of reaching summer agreement with ‘monster’ defender

Manchester United might be enticed to make a deal for the Napoli defender in order to bolster their central defense after Kim Min-promising jae’s Serie A debut. The Red Devils, who are reportedly very keen on the 26-year-old, are thinking about moving the center-back at the end of the current season.
United has undergone a significant transformation from previous years, and their recent Carabao Cup success has given them a гeɑl chance at the quadruple. Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez’s and United’s offensιυе skills’ success has been primarily credited to the overhauled defense, which has set the stage for it.

Martinez and Raphael Varane’s defensive partnership is unbeatable, while Luke Shaw provides a third center option. Harry Maguire, the club captain, has regularly had to warm the bench as a result, which has attracted the attention of multiple Premier League teams.
If Erik ten Hag were to leave Old Trafford in the summer after a Ԁisastrous season with the squad, he would surely be relying on a replacement being purchased. The pursuit of Min-jae, who has repeatedly been suggested as a prospective transfer, could result from Maguire’s departure.
Former Napoli director Carlo Jacomuzzi responded to Radio Punto Nuovo’s inquiry about transfer possibilities with: “Kim and United? It would be quite useful. Manchester United, which needs to dramatically improve, would benefit from having a player with the Korean’s profile.

Min-jae has made 23 league appearances for Napoli this season, assisting the team in finishing first and garnering plaudits as one of their most important players. The South Korean player’s contributions have enabled him to get the nickname “the monster,” which he гeɑlly likes.
The 26-year-old defender has the potential to advance and contribute significantly for United, but doing so will be expensive. A £44 million release clause in Min-Present Jae’s contract goes into effect in the summer. But Napoli is working continuously to come to a deal with their No. 3, which would remove that provision and considerably raise his transfer value.
After starting him in his team’s FA Cup fifth-round match against West Ham earlier this week, Ten Hag demonstrated his confidence in his captain, therefore United may be tempted to keep Maguire while allocating their resources to other places.
